I want to sell my book; do I need a UPC, EAN or ISBN number?

If you’re selling your book through a retail outlet, the retailer will generally require that you obtain an ISBN. The ISBN is a 13 digit number that properly identifies the book title and the publisher’s contact information. We recommend that you check your store’s requirements on UPC and ISBN codes. Sometimes you can get away with just using a UPC code and then you can purchase the UPC codes from us at upcs.com.  We do offer ISBNs if you need an ISBN and barcode for your product.  You can buy an ISBN from us here.
