1. Commission

Affiliates earn a commission on the net order value (order subtotal after discounts, before tax and shipping) of purchases made on upcs.com by customers they refer. The standard rate is 15%; individual rates may be agreed in writing. Commission is earned when the order is paid and is reversed if the order is cancelled, fails, or is refunded.

2. Attribution

A referral is credited when a customer buys within 30 days after clicking your affiliate link, or when the customer uses a coupon code assigned to you. If several affiliates could claim a sale, the affiliate coupon on the order takes precedence; otherwise the most recent click wins.

3. Payment

Commissions are paid by PayPal to the payout address we hold for you; contact us to change it. Payouts are made periodically for all accepted referrals older than 30 days (to allow for refunds). A minimum payout threshold may apply. You are responsible for any taxes on commissions you receive.

4. Prohibited practices

• Self-referrals: buying through your own link or coupon, or for accounts you control.
• Bidding on "UPCs.com", "upcs" or misspellings in paid search, or using our name as a display URL.
• Coupon-code sites publishing codes that were not issued to them, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, pop-unders, adware, or any technique that credits a visit the customer did not intend.
• Misrepresenting UPCs.com, barcode ownership, registry rules, or Amazon/marketplace requirements; sending unsolicited email (spam) that mentions UPCs.com.
• Reselling or relisting codes purchased from UPCs.com without written permission.

Violations result in reversal of unpaid commissions and removal from the program.

5. Program changes and termination

UPCs.com may change commission rates, cookie duration, or these terms with notice by email or in the affiliate area; changes apply to sales after the notice. Either party may end the relationship at any time; earned, accepted commissions are still paid.

6. Relationship

Affiliates are independent parties, not employees, agents, or partners of UPCs.com, and may not make commitments on its behalf. UPCs.com's liability under this program is limited to unpaid commissions actually earned.
